This ski resort is the best known of the resorts in
the Neige Catalanes and has lots of skiing for all levels on the runs which
link the town of Font Romeu with the village of Pyrenees 2000. Font Romeu has over 400 snow cannon covering much of its 54km of pistes which include 8 greens, 9 blues, 8 reds and 7 blacks. In addition this ski resort offers over 100km of cross country skiing with marked trails for all levels.

Recently Pas de la
Casa has linked up with Soldeu, El Tartar, Canillo and Encamp to form a huge
ski domain covered by one pass. This area is now called Grand Valira. The area has 17 green runs, 39 blues, 35 reds and 21 blacks mostly linked by high speed chair lifts. The resort reaches to 2560m and has hundreds of restaurants and bars dotted throughout the towns and on the slopes. As this ski resort is outside of the Neiges Catalanes region and is about 1 1/4 hours drive away a supplement euros will be charged per visit. |
